Designing a complex Interactive Learning Canvas
Objective
To create an adaptable and interactive canvas within the RadicalX platform that will serve as a multifunctional learning tool, capable of shifting from a standard lesson canvas to an integrated quiz interface and a code editor for development lessons.
Background
The AI Tutor Canvas is a groundbreaking feature designed to revolutionize how learners engage with educational content. It aims to provide an immersive experience where visual lessons, assessments, and practical coding sessions can occur within a single, cohesive interface.
Brief
RadicalX wanted to design a learning experience for the UX course based on an apprenticeship model, exploring interactions within the canvas and incorporating a fresh UI.
My Role: AI Product Designer, Researcher
As one of the designers on this project, I dove deep into understanding educators' needs. I reviewed over 20 research papers and teaching frameworks and spoke with 5 educators to uncover their challenges. Synthesizing over 50 insights into actionable UX artifacts, I led the development of the feedback page and conducted 5 user tests.
